What happened to Casino Joy
Casino Joy launched in 2018 under Genesis Global Limited of Malta. Its downfall came with the rest of the Genesis stable. In January 2022 the UK Gambling Commission fined Genesis £3.8m and suspended its licence over anti-money-laundering and social-responsibility failings. Genesis then surrendered its UK licence and cut off UK access to all 14 of its brands on 6 December 2022.
The company was wound up in Malta on 23 December 2022, with more than 140 staff laid off. The Malta Gaming Authority suspended its licence in January 2023 and cancelled it in January 2024. Casino Joy closed globally in January 2023 and never came back.
What Casino Joy offered

The domain today
